Clearsight browser extension, by Lyreto ยท Last updated October 23, 2026
Clearsight shows safety warnings next to Roblox accounts on roblox.com. To do that it asks Lyreto's server (lyreto.com) whether the Roblox accounts on the page you are viewing have been flagged. This page explains exactly what is sent and kept.
What the extension sends
Roblox user IDs. When you open a page on roblox.com that shows Roblox accounts (a profile, a friends list, a group member list, user search), the extension sends the public numeric Roblox user IDs shown on that page to lyreto.com/api/shield/lookup to get their safety status. IDs Lyreto has not checked yet may be queued for a check of that account's public Roblox profile.
Reports you choose to submit. If you use "Report this user", the extension sends the Roblox user ID you are reporting, the reason you picked and any details you type (up to 2,000 characters).
What it does not send
No names, emails, Roblox login, passwords, cookies or other account details of yours.
No browsing history. The extension only runs on roblox.com pages and does not read or send anything from other websites.
No Lyreto account data. You do not need a Lyreto account, and the extension does not link what it sends to one.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
What Lyreto keeps
Requests are rate-limited by IP address to prevent abuse. For reports, the reporter's IP address is stored only as a salted hash (not the address itself), so repeated reports can be counted without knowing who sent them.
Report reasons and details are kept so Lyreto moderators can review them. Public Roblox account information (IDs, display names, bios, groups) is used to decide whether an account is flagged.
Like any website, lyreto.com may keep short-lived server logs (time, request, IP address) for security and to keep the service running.
Stored in your browser
Your settings (on/off, which badges to show, demo mode) and recently checked results are saved in your browser's local extension storage. They stay on your device and are removed when you uninstall the extension.
Children
Clearsight is built to help keep Roblox players safe. It does not ask for or collect personal information from anyone, including children.
